  • Overview:The super quality of both the standard model and the Plus displays, brings a great user experience.

If you invest in the 7 Plus you would be getting a screen that is 0.8-inch bigger than the standard 7 which has a 4.7-inch, both have a slim bezel.

The 5.5-inch is big but not as big as the huge 6.3-inch of the Galaxy Note8, see more with the differences of the Samsung Galaxy Note8 V's iPhone 7 Plus.

The led-backlit ips lcd gives you a clear and bright view and the free flowing smoothness and reaction to your every finger move enables you to move around menus, and web browsing quickly.

  • Overview:There is a huge differences in sizes of these 2 handsets. The 7 Plus has to accommodate the much bigger screen so the length is another 20mm bigger than the 7 and also an extra 10.8mm wider.

It's not just all the blame of the display though as the extra battery to power this also brings an extra 0.2mm depth compared to the standard model. At 7.1mm the iPhone 7 is not going to win any slimming competitions, where as the 7 Plus stands at 7.3mm.

The iPhones are generally light and at 138g and 188g for both their class that is around expected compared to other top flagships and display sizes. You can see the lightest smartphones list here

An extra 50g on the Plus could be the difference to you purchasing it or not, yet at 188g it still feel light in the hand.

  • Standby Time

  • Overview:The difference in battery power is nearly 1000mah and are both non-removeable.

The 2900mah of the iPhone 7 plus is needed too for the pwoer of the extra large 5.5-inch screen.

Apple, like many top manufacturers, have taken the stance on non-removeable batteries to enable them to gain the water resistance required.

The standby and talktimes are estimated and do depend on the individual user and circumstances of usage at the time.

  • Internal Memory
    32/128/256 gb
  • CardSlot
    no
  • The is no memory card on both the iPhones again, this has been the case for the olders models too and it looks like Apple have no intention of giving the option either in the future, will this be the case on the iPhone 8?

The growth in recent years of the internal memory have seen new options for iPhone users. The standard 7 starts from the 16GB upto a model that would offer you 128GB of internal memory. Apple expect a bit more usage from their 7 Plus users with the lowest GB available being the 32GB that is on offer all the way utpo a 256GB option

The IOS gives you an option now with free space on the iCloud allowing you to possibly take a cheaper, lesser GB option and use the iCloud to accomodate your photos, dependant on your usage.

  • Overview:The new A10 chip is quoted as being 120 times faster than iphones original chip, so that gives you an idea have how the processors are progressing with time.

Apple built a brand new performance controller that decides which cores to use in a given situation, meaning everything you do is handled seperately, bringing a seamlessly smooth usage.

The big question would be how much faster is it than the previous A9 chip used in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus?
Apple says it's 40% quicker than the A9 chip, but also importantly, actually uses less power.

Now that iPhones have become water resistant, they have become more of a complete phone.
