Check out the differences.
We are going to put both the LG G6 and the LG Q6 phones side by side and look at the differences and how this could effect your choice of handset.
ips lcd capacitive touchscreen, 16m colours
ips lcd capacitive touchscreen, 16m colors
Overview: The screens on both these phones use the same technology with ips lcd capacitive features, yet the G6 does have a bigger display with a 5.7-inch compared to the Q6 5.5-inch, meaning you have that extra 0.2 of an inch of viewing area.
Overview: Reading the details on the screens and the differences between the 2 smartphones, it is of no surprise that the G6 is slightly bigger than the Q6.
The upside of this if the dimensions of the body are important to you, is the G6 is actually thinner than the Q6 with measurements of 7.9mm and 8.1mm respectively.
non-removable li-po 3300 mah battery
non-removable li-po 3000 mah battery
Overview:The modern smartphone user always has one gripe and this is of the battery power. All the features and functions of high tech available to us at a touch of a button, soething surely has to give :).
Faster charging is the key to this one as manufacturers look to source a way of improving batttery power.
The flagship G6 hold the key in this battle with an extra 300mah, yet this could be needed to power the extra sized screen.
23 / 64gb
microsd, up to 256 gb
16 gb / 32gb / 64gb
microsd, up to 256 gb
Overview:Having enough memory has been an issue for many with the 16GB not being enough, as you can see there are different memory sized handsets, offering that extra internal phone storage.
You can always use a microSD card to extend your storage power and both handsets offer the card slot as a way of doing this, upto 256GB cards are accepted.
13 mp dual
Overview : With both of the phones carrying 13 MP cameras there is an arguement to say that in camera terms the G6 and Q6 are pretty equal.
Android camera capabilities allows you to bring many features to your shots both before and after taking the photo.
Speed and Functionality
octa-core 1.4 ghz
Overview:Lg have used Android for their smartphones and these 2 models are no different.
Android is the platform that brings so many features and benefits to your handset, including the ability to download those apps.
The octa-core processor on the Q6 could make a bit of difference in speed but if you want the water protection, the G6 wins handsdown with a IP68 cert and the Q6 with none.
£25.00 Per Month
£14.99 Per Month
Overview:There is quite a price difference between both phones.
As the information shows with a free handset connected to a network there is a big gap so with your decision on purchasing, price may pay a big part.
Conclusion:If you are happy with a 5.5-inch display then it seems that buying the Q6 would be a far better option when you look at the price difference.
The big thought at the moment would be the water resistance, as the G6 is IP68 certified but the Q6 has no water resistance rating.
